I’m sure you are all by now aware of what this is, and the extra work and hassle it has given both ourselves and you the business owner.

On a “big brother” level, our clients who do not pay their taxes on the due date, are receiving a reminder letter within 1 week, and in some cases Revenue are sending unpaid tax demands to the Sheriff within a further 2 weeks – it is unfair and adding an additional cost to business. We expect to see someone being fined €4,000 shortly and it will be publicised by Revenue to further frighten taxpayers, to make them pay their taxes on the due date.
