Colum is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, having qualified in 1990. He gained over 15 years’ experience in Irish business, such as Irish Biscuits, Bewley’s, Digital and Sharptext, before forming a Management Accounting practice in 1995. This business flourished and is now Guardian Management Accounting.
He was president of The Dublin and District Branch of CIMA in 2006. He has also been Chairman of the Members in Practice Committee of CIMA from 2000 - 2006. In addition he represented CIMA on the CCABI Taxation Committee in 2005/6.
He is a member of the Networking Group Business Network International - BNI (www.bnifitzwilliam.com).
Colum acts as non-executive director and Part time Financial Controller for a number of Guardian’s clients. His expertise is in providing business advice and has a particular strength in start up’s particularly in the technology sector.

He has a passion for cars, allotment gardening and tennis, and he is also a keen supporter of Leinster Rugby.
Laura has a BA Honours Degree in French and Italian from UCD. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Ireland, Laura also completed her Accountant Technician exams in 2005. Laura joined Guardian in May 2016 after working as Financial Controller for a number of companies. Laura trained as a Certified Accountant with Grant Thornton in Dublin. Laura has developed her experience working in both practice and industry over several years. Laura specialises in Audit, Financial Accounting and Tax for a wide range of clients over a number of different sectors.

She enjoys spending time with her family and hiking in her native Wicklow hills.
Avril joined the practice as a part qualified accountant in 2007 from a fund management company, and qualified in May 2009. She provides accounting support to many clients in the area of accounting and Management Accounts. She qualified as a chartered tax advisor in 2013 and provides tax advice to clients in all areas of income tax, corporation tax, CAT, CGT and VAT

Evelyn is the longest standing member of the firm, having joined us in 2001. She is an Accounting Technician with over 25 years experience. Her particular strength is in the area of payroll and incomplete records.

She is a keen GAA fan and secretary of Faughs Hurling club.
Geraldine is a qualified Accounting Technician and has over 12 year’s experience with the practice. She provides book keeping services both on and off site to a variety of clients in the services sector. She is proficient with a wide variety of accounting packages such as Tas Books, Kashflow and Quickbooks. Geraldine also prepares payroll for a large number of our clients using Thesaurus.
